SPECIAL THEME MONTHS
During the year, The Hult Health Education Center focuses on three
areas that are in addition to our regular classes. Additional
activities, and take-home packets add to our presentation to make it
even more fun to learn! Call to register ahead for these special
programs offered only during these months:
FEBRUARY IS DENTAL HEALTH MONTH
In celebration of
National Children's Dental Health Month, teachers may select special
versions of our "Healthy Pardners" and "Healthland" programs, which
emphasize dental health. Pre-school through 2nd grade students will
have the opportunity to practice proper brushing and flossing. In
addition, they will receive a packet of dental supplies and activities
to take home. Please ask for this "Dental Health" program when you call
to register.
APRIL and NOVEMBER are HEALTHY HEART ADVENTURE
months
During
these months, we focus on the HEART! 4th, 5th,and 6th graders will
participate in the Heart Adventure Challenge Course. This obstacle
course takes students through the atrium, aorta, ventricles etc. by
"scooting, crawling, and dribbling" through a large obstacle course
designed to be the anatomy of the heart! They will learn about the
heart and improve their cardio-vascular fitness at the same time! Don't
miss this innovative learning opportunity!
MAY IS SUMMER SAFETY MONTH
During May, we focus on
SUMMER SAFETY! Start your students off this summer the safe, smart way
by attending this special program. Designed for kindergarten through
2nd graders, our "Safe Kids, Smart Kids" program will focus on safety
issues. They will also receive a summer safety packet to take home!
