Senior Education

The Seniors Program through the Hult Center for Health Education is designed to provide education and health screening services to the senior population in six counties: Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, Stark and Fulton. The Central Illinois Agency on Aging has helped to provide two components to the program: (1) Seniors On The Go – monthly seminars held at the Hult Center (April – December) and (2) Outreach presentations to senior groups and senior lunch sites in each of the counties. In addition, we host an annual senior health fair each March which is attended by more than 400 seniors.

Outreach Program

Seniors on the Go Outreach programs are presented to a variety of senior citizens groups throughout the six county coverage area (Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, Stark and Fulton counties).

Seniors on the Go

Seniors On The Go seminars target people who are 55 and older. Each month local doctors and health care professionals present on timely issues relevant to maintaining health and independence as we age.

Senior Health Fair

The Seniors On The Go Health Fair will be held at the Hult Center for Health Education on March 14th!

It is one of the most popular events for the young at heart. It is an interesting and easy way to gather a lot of information, all in one place and at one time.

The Senior Fair will be held Wednesday, March 14th from 7:30AM-11:30AM.

8:15am- Updates in Vascular Disease with Jennifer Ash, M.D. from Heartcare Midwest, S.C.

9:15am- Developing and Maintaining Emotional Health into Older Age with Donna Nordwall LCSW from the Counseling Center at Proctor Hospital.

10:15am- Car
